(1994) - A three-time All-New England College Conference (NECC) selection in softball, Teresa Padvaiskas (1985-88) is the third member of the softball program to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame, voted into the Hall in her second year of eligibility.

An All-NECC first team selection at two positions (at shortstop as a sophomore in 1986, and at first base in 1987 and 1988), Padvaiskas was also twice named All-New England at first base and was a New England Intercollegiate Softball Coaches Association (NEISCA) all-star game participant in 1987. She earned four letters playing for former coaches Denise Legault and Jim DeFazio.

As a co-captain of the team her senior year (1988), Padvaiskas was named the team's Most Outstanding Player and is still regarded as one of the softball program's best power hitters. She was the second player in school history - behind fellow Hall of Famer Cheryl Lauziere, to compile 100 career hits.

Playing shortstop her first two seasons, Padvaiskas helped UMass Lowell to its only NECC championship and to a berth in the NCAA Northeast Regional Softball Tournament hosted by the then-Chiefs in 1986 by hitting .344 with six home runs and 18 RBI. She hit .354 with two home runs and 24 RBIs on the 1987 ECAC Division II Softball championship team. As a senior she let the team to a third straight post-season tournament berth (ECAC) by hitting .322 with six homers and 28 RBIs.
