(1981) - Michael G. Geragosian was a superb goalie for Lowell Technological Institute (1971-75) in ice hockey. Among his achievements at LTI was being named to the First Team Division II All-Star team by the New England Hockey Writers' Association. The former assistant captain was name Most Valuable Player his senior year while leading LTI to its only post-season tournament berth in the ECAC. He held the ECAC Division II playoff record for most saves with 63 in one game. His senior season found him giving up only 68 goals while stopping 711 shots in 21 games to help lead the team to a fine 14-7 record.

After graduation, Geragosian was an assistant hockey coach at the University of Lowell with head coach Bill Riley. His work with the team's goalies has been instrumental in helping ULowell to two national NCAA Division II championships in three years. Geragosian was also an active baseball umpire holding membership in the Eastern New England Umpires Association.
