(1981) - A native of Chelmsford, MA, Robert Germann was an outstanding wrestler for Lowell State College (1966-70). Germann's career wrestling record for LSC shows him owning an impressive 25-4 dual meet won-lost mark and an equally impressive tournament record of 19-4. His 24 dual meet wins are a school record. Among his undergraduate achievements are a pair of New England State College Championships which led him to be named the Outstanding Wrestler in the conference in those two years. The New England Intercollegiate Wrestling Association ranked him number two in 1967 at 130 pounds and fourth in 1969 at 126 ponds. Germann also holds LSC records for most pins, points scored, and fastest pin.

Germann was the head wrestling coach for the University of Lowell and served in that capacity before the merger of Lowell Tech and Lowell State at his alma mater. Germann holds a Master's Degree in Education from Northeastern University and a doctorate from Boston University.
