Jamie Gillis, women’s soccer goalkeeper from 2006-09, played every minute of every match during her career. She was an All-American as a senior and a two-time Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year.
 
In 79 appearances (5,451 minutes), Gillis set UMass Lowell records in shutouts in a season (14) and career (38); goals against average in a season (0.40) and career (0.81); and fewest goals in a season (9, 2009) and a career (67).

As a senior, she set the NCAA Division II record for consecutive shutout minutes (1,333:20, encompassing 12 shutouts). Gillis was also the co-recipient of the 2009-10 Lester H. Cushing Award for UMass Lowell’s Athlete of the Year.

Gillis was a four-time NE-10 All-Conference standout and a four-time NSCAA All-East Region honoree. An equally accomplished student, she was a two-time member of the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team.
