Biography
2015-16 Season: McGrath skated in 36 of 40 games in his senior season, posting 13 points (7g,6a) with three game-winning goals and +6 plus/minus rating. Opened the year with two game-winning goals in the series against Colorado College. Had points in 10 games this season, which includes three multi-point efforts. UMass Lowell owned a 8-1-1 record when McGrath scores a point this season. Recorded a season-high six shots on goal against UConn on December 6th at the Tsongas Center.
2014-15 Season:Â Appeared in 28 games while adding eight points (2g,6a). Scored the game-winning goal in a 7-3 win over RIT on Jan. 2.
2013-14 Season:Â Finished the year with 18 points in 35 games (9g,9a). Added one goal and two assists in a 4-3 win over Clarkson. Maintained a four game point streak during the month of December. Came through with a game winner against UNH.
2012-13 Season: The impact freshman skated in 37 games with 19 points (6g,13a). Ranked seventh among Hockey East freshmen scorers. His season highlights included two goals in a 3-2 win over Bentley and two points (1g,1a) in a 2-0 victory over Northeastern. Registered two assists twice, in a 6-3 win at Massachusetts and a 6-3 win at Vermont.
