Biography

2016-2017 Season: Panico skated in 27 games in his junior campaign, recording 11 points (3g,8a) with a +6 plus/minus rating. Recorded three assists in his last three games of the season, which included an assist in each NCAA Tournament game against Cornell and Notre Dame. Had a point in 10 games this season and tied a career-high with two points (1g,1a) on Dec. 10th at Merrimack, which included his first career shorthanded goal. Recorded two points (1g,1a) with a +1 rating in four HEA playoff games. Played the final six games of the season for the River Hawks. Panico had a plus or even rating in 20 of 27 contests. Recorded a season-high three shots twice this year, Nov. 5th vs. UVM and Feb. 11th vs. UMass. UMass Lowell owns a 6-3-1 record when Panico scores a point this season. 

2015-2016 Season: Panico recorded 10 assists in his sophomore year with a +9 plus/minus rating in 39 of 40 games for the River Hawks. Played in all six playoff games, amassing three assists with a +2 plus/minus rating. Amassed a career-high two points with a two-assist effort on January 16th vs. UMass and March 11th vs. Boston University. Had a season-high four shots on goal vs. CC on October 16th and December 29th vs. Robert Morris. Recorded a plus/even rating in 33 of 39 contests for UMass Lowell. Posted season-high six blocked shots on March 18th in the Hockey East semifinal win against Providence. Had a blocked shot in 26 of 39 games this year. The River Hawks owned a 7-1-0 record this season when Panico scored a point. Registered three assists this season on River Hawk game-winning goals. Three of his 10 points (3a) came via the power play.

2014-15 Season: Appeared in 18 games this season while adding one assist. Notched his first career point with an assist in a 5-3 loss to Boston University in the Hockey East Championship game.
