THOUGHTS FROM RESA: "Some of the freshmen got over their jitters after Day one, so Day two we talked about being a little more gamers and encourage them just to play hard and especially in the match vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore they started to do that as the match went on," said Head Coach
Resa Provanzano. "I think as we move forward I am hoping to come out of the gates with that mentality. I think the setters are working extremely hard, we are asking a lot of them and they both came in at different times and did some great things, so I was happy to see that.
"We need to have a more of a killer mentality, we need to find kills and so that starts with our serve receive. We need to pass the ball to the setters so we can run the offense we want to run. So that means passers need to talk to each other a little bit more and give us something to work with. For the hitters, they need to take it upon themselves, good set or bad, to find a way to score."
AMERICA EAST LEADERS: Junior middle blocker
Lauren Bennett (Wilmington, Mass.) leads America East with 1.13 blocks per set. Freshman setter
Delaney Mendez ranks third in America East with 7.27 assists per set. Freshman libero
Lindsey Visvardis (Homer Glen, Ill.) ranks eighth in America East with 3.2 digs per set.

Lauren Bennett was the lone River Hawk named to the UMES Invitational All-Tournament Team last weekend, as she registered 22 kills and 17 total blocks (4s,13a) in four matches over the weekend. Saturday's match marks the first national TV appearance for the River Hawks in the program's history.
