Junior Antoinette Toussaint (Somerville, Mass.) was named UMass Lowell’s Northwestern Mutual Athlete of the Week Wednesday after leading the women’s track and field team to their second straight Northeast-10 Championship Saturday at Reggie Lewis Track & Athletics Center.
Toussaint won the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 5.75 inches. She finished in second in the long jump (18’5.0”) and the 500 meters (1:14.77). Also, Toussaint took third in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.96 seconds.

Toussaint was named Athlete of the Meet after scoring 32 points over her four events.

Toussaint was also named to the Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week.

UMass Lowell enters the New England Championship Friday and Saturday at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center.
