UMass Lowell field hockey junior standout Anouk Lalande (Brussels, Belgium) was tabbed River Hawk of the Week for the first time this season.
 
The forward helped her squad go 1-1 during this past weekend’s trip to Connecticut. Most notably, she led the team’s offensive effort in the River Hawks 4-1 win at Sacred Heart on September 16.
 
In that outing, Lalande put UMass Lowell on the board in the 15th minute before tallying what would be the game-winner just after halftime.
 
So far this season, Lalande is ranked second on the squad with five goals and 11 total points.
