CAREER: Appeared in 78 games as a River Hawks, scoring nine goals and dishing out 15 assists for 24 career points … Tallied three power play goals and three game-winners during his four seasons on the ice … Ended his career with a +3 rating … 2022 Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award recipient … Three-time Hockey East All-Academic Team Selection … Named a 2019-20 Hockey East All-Academic All-Star pick as well as a Hockey East Top Scholar-Athlete as a sophomore … Recipient of the 2022 Coaches’ Perseverance Award at the team’ end of the year banquet.
AS A SENIOR (2021-22): Appeared in 20 games for the River Hawks, recording a career-high seven assists … Registered a +6 rating this season … Put up a season-high two assists in a 6-3 win over Dartmouth (2/5) … Recipient of the 2022 Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award, given annually to the graduating student-athlete with the highest GPA over four years … Recipient of the 2022 Coaches’ Perseverance Award at the team’ end of the year banquet.
AS A JUNIOR (2020-21): Appeared in 15 games for the River Hawks…Tallied an assist against Boston College (3/17)…Registered nine blocks, with a season-high three against UConn (2/9) ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-2020): Knoblauch played in 16 games for the River Hawks, recording seven points (4g,3a) with a +3 plus/minus rating. Posted three goals in his final three games of the season. Notched two points (1g,1a) in the 5-3 win at Vermont on November 2nd. UMass Lowell owned a 4-0-2 record when Knoblauch scored a point. Knoblauch was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for the second straight season and was also honored as a Hockey East All-Academic All-Star selection in his sophomore year. Knoblauch also earned Hockey East Top Scholar-Athlete honors.
AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19): Played in 27 contests in his rookie season, posting nine points (5g,4a), which ranked tied for fourth among River Hawk freshmen. Knoblauch has also added 29 shots on goal and two game-winning tallies. Scored his first collegiate goal in his second career game on Oct. 13th vs. RIT. Has points in seven games this year, which includes a career-high two points (1g,1a) twice on Oct. 19th at Miami and Nov. 2nd at Maine. Was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Nov. 5th after a three-point (2g,1a) weekend in the split with Maine at Alfond Arena. UMass Lowell owned a 5-2-0 record when he scored a point. Knoblauch recorded a career-high four shots on goal on Oct. 19th at Miami.
Previous Team: Knoblauch skated for the Carleton Place of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) for the last two seasons, posting 125 points (41g,84a) in 121 games for the Canadians. Knoblauch amassed 87 points (31g,56a) in 2017-18 in 62 contests.
Personal: Son of Michele and Michael... Has an older brother Jacob... In his time away from the rink he likes golfing, puzzles, roller coasters, boating... Favorite TV show is Entourage, Impractical Jokers and Suits... His favorite professional sports teams Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons... His favorite sports figures and influences are Tiger Woods and Jamie Benn. His greatest sports moment was winning the 2017 Bogart Cup with my junior team (Carleton Place Canadians).
