Will [quote]Birdman[quote] Baron is in his third year as manager of the UMass Lowell men[apos]s basketball team. His duties include setting up for practices (balls, water, clock, scoreboard, music), game preparation (water, towels), maintaining the locker room and assisting the coaching staff whenever needed. A graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School, Baron was a four-year member of the varsity basketball team under the guidance of Rick Kilpatrick. He still helps Kilpatrick with various camps and clinics. Baron is the son of Will and Kim Baron of Boxborough, Mass. and has one younger brother. He lists his favorite professional team as the Boston Celtics. Majoring in community health, Baron hopes to one day become a basketball coach.
