AS A FRESHMAN (2022): Did not see game action.

Highlights: Played baseball at Chicopee High School…was named team captain in his senior year…made the All- Western Massachusetts First Team senior year…did not have any losses as a pitcher for CT Capitals his junior year…hit .400 with over 35 hits in 20 games played his sophomore year…made the honor roll all four years of high school…won a scholarship for scoring proficient on two out of three MCAS tests.
 
Personal: Son of Sharon Nivar…has two siblings (Justin and Jazzlyn) …enjoys playing video games and hanging out with the boys…names the New York Yankees as his favorite sports team and Lebron James as his favorite athlete…names Prison Break as his favorite show…chose to attend UMass Lowell because of the great business school and the baseball team…says it has always been his dream to play Division I baseball.
