Baseball Announces 2026 Fall Ball Schedule

LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell baseball team announced a four-game fall ball slate featuring a showdown against Northeastern, which competed in the 2026 NCAA Regionals. The River Hawks also welcome UMass Dartmouth, SNHU and Harvard to LeLacheur Park as part of the fall schedule ahead of alumni weekend in late October.

"We are excited to play four times this fall against outside competition," said Head Coach Nick Barese. "It will be a great opportunity to see quality opponents and get this group together on the field and see how we stack up."

Starting out the exhibition games, the River Hawks square off against UMass Dartmouth at noon on Saturday, September 26. The next week, SNHU comes to LeLacheur for a noon game on Saturday, October 3.

UMass Lowell welcomes the 2026 CAA Tournament Champion Huskies to the Mill City on October 10, with first pitch also being set for noon. Rounding out the schedule, the River Hawks host Harvard at noon on Saturday, October 17.

In addition to the fall ball exhibitions, UMass Lowell also holds alumni weekend on October 23 and 24.

On Friday, October 23, the annual Boutin-Stone Golf Tournament takes place. That night, UMass Lowell hockey takes on Providence, and Barese is holding baseball alumni night in the Corporate Suite at the Tsongas Center.
