Freshman Haley Shimon (Des Moines, Iowa) leads the team with 102 kills and 2.13 kills per set. Junior right side hitter Elima Ahzi (Chula Vista, Calif.) totaled 30 kills with a .323 hitting percentage and 10 total blocks last week in three matches and was named to the UAB All-Tournament Team for her efforts. In 2014, UMass Lowell won 22 of a possible 112 sets (19.6%) and this season the River Hawks have already won 13 of a possible 51 sets (25.5%). The River Hawks rank third as team in America East with 1.82 blocks per set. SCOUTING THE PIONEERS: Sacred Heart owns a 5-6 overall record and a 1-1 mark at home this season. The Pioneers have won three of their last five matches, which included a 3-2 loss at Delaware last Saturday. Junior right side hitter Sarah Krufka leads Sacred Heart with 176 kills and 3.67 kills per set.
