Looking at the River Hawks
UMass Lowell enters the weekend with a 4-23 overall record and a 1-9 mark in America East play, after dropping a pair of decisions last week. The River Hawks fell in three straight sets to top seeded New Hampshire on Nov. 6 before being defeated by Hartford, 3-0, in its most recent outing on Nov. 11. Freshmen outside hitters Haley Shimon (Des Moines, Iowa) and Erica Cappellino (Penfield, N.Y.) are running the River Hawks' offensively, posting 219 kills and 17 service aces respectively. Defensively, Lindsey Visvardis (Homer Glen, Ill.) has recorded a team best 379 kills while junior Lauren Bennett has tallied 87 total blocks. UMass Lowell looks to even this year's series against Albany and Binghamton, as both squads defeated the River Hawks earlier in the year.

Scouting Albany
The Great Danes (15-8, 10-1 AE) are coming into the week riding a nine-game win streak, having not lost a match since October 4. Last week, Albany battled back to top Stony Brook, 3-2, on Nov. 6 before blanking UMBC, 3-0, at home on Senior Day. Junior outside hitter Laini Leindecker leads the squad with 313 kills, while fellow junior Amanda Dolan is atop the conference posting 103 total blocks. Freshman libero Nicole Otero has made her presence know on the court tallying 420 digs and 4.77 digs per set, trailing Binghamton's Bailey Walker for second in the conference. The Great Danes lead the America East with 192 total blocks and 1476 digs so far this season.

Scouting Binghamton
The Bearcats are coming into the week 8-18, 5-6 AE, thanks to a pair of wins in last week's contests. Binghamton wrapped up their final home games of the season with two wins, taking down UMBC, 3-1, on Nov. 6 and defeating Stony Brook, 3-2, one day later. Freshman outside hitter Gabby Alicea leads the team in kills (250) and services aces (29), as sophomore Kristella Morina has a team best 97 total blocks. Junior libero Bailey Walker heads the conference with 355 digs and 4.86 digs per set.

America East Leaders
Junior middle blocker Lauren Bennett (Wilmington, Mass.) ranks second in the league with a .283 hitting percentage and fourth with 87 total blocks. Freshman libero Lindsey Visvardis' 3.91 digs per set put her fourth in the America East, while fellow freshman Lade Adeniyi (Springfield, Ill.) ranks eighth with 72 total blocks.

Senior Salute
Graduate student Rachel Arnason (Kelowna, B.C.) will be recognized during a special pregame ceremony in honor of Senior Day. The outside hitter served as one of the squads co-captains, appearing in 82 of 97 sets played this season. She has accumulated 148 kills and seven service aces while defensively, tallying 150 digs and 21 blocks so far in 2015.
