The River Hawks fell to 2-16 overall (0-1 AE) on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to a 4-16 overall mark.

Hannah Rey (San Diego, Calif.) led the River Hawks' defense with a career-high 30 digs in the losing effort, breaking her previous record of 28 at Pace on October 15, 2011 during her freshman season. Senior middle blocker
Anisa Smith (Moraga, Calif.) led the team in kills with nine with seven coming in the opening frame. Freshman outside hitter
Masha Yelsukova (Santa Clara, Calif.) chipped in with seven kills on the night. Junior setter
Kylee Chun (Las Vegas, Nevada) ended the night with 25 assists, eight digs and three service aces running the UMass Lowell offensive attack.
The River Hawks return to action on Friday, October 3rd against conference foe Albany at the Costello Athletic Center (7 p.m.).
