With the loss the River Hawks fall to 1-15 overall (0-1 AE), while UNH improves to 7-10 (1-0 AE).

Kylee Chun (Las Vegas, Nevada) totaled 11 digs apiece with Chun registering 19 assists running the UMass Lowell offense. Freshman outside hitter
Masha Yelsukova (Santa Clara, Calif.) and senior outside hitter
Ella Merrill (Bermuda Dunes, Calif.) tallied six kills apiece on the night for the River Hawks.
UMass Lowell notched 11 kills in the opening frame, after taking an early 4-0 lead in the first set.
UMass Lowell returns to action on Saturday, September 27 in its home opener against NJIT (4pm) at Costello Athletic Center.
