River Hawks Fall In Three At Binghamton

VESTAL, N.Y. – The UMass Lowell volleyball team fell victim to America East foe Binghamton in straight sets (18-25, 18-25, 19-25) Friday night at West Gymnasium in.
 
The River Hawks fall to 2-23 overall and 0-8 in America East play, while the Bearcats climb to 8-16 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
 
Junior setter Kylee Chun (Las Vegas, Nev.) and senior captain Anisa Smith (Moraga, Calif.) paced the River Hawks offense. Chun totaled 26 assists and two service aces while Smith picked up a team-high 11 kills on a .333 hitting percentage.
 
Senior Hannah Rey finished with a team-high 12 digs.
 
The River Hawks will stay in New York and return to action on Sunday when they face Albany at 2 p.m.
