Evan Acciavatti joins the River Hawk Staff as a Sports Performance Graduate Fellow after graduating from West Virginia University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Coaching and Performance Sciences with an area of emphasis on Strength and Conditioning.

Acciavatti has also completed multiple internships such as two summers at Barwis Methods in Deerfield Florida working with NHL, AHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, and NCAA athletes, a summer internship at West Virginia University working with the Wrestling team, and a season long internship with the Grand Rapids Griffins working as a Sport Science/Strength and Conditioning intern.

This year Acciavatti will assist in the strength and conditioning training for the Women's Soccer team, as well as oversee the strength and conditioning training for Women’s Lacrosse. Acciavatti is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning through Merrimack University.
Acciavatti holds certifications from the NSCA (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and American Red Cross (CPR and First Aid).
