In his first event of the season at the 2015 Colonial Relays he had a season long javelin throw of 179’ 3”… he finished in fourth place at the George Davis Invitational with a javelin mark of 177’ 0”… A javelin mark of 178’ 1” at the UMass Pre-Conference Meet 2015 earned him fifth place…

McHale finished second in his first event at the 2014 Colonial Relays with a javelin mark of 182’ 10”… He had a personal best javelin throw of 186’ 10” at the NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships…
 
Lowell High School: Division 1 East Champion in Javelin…. Two-Time Merrimack Valley Champions in Track and Field… Member of National Honors Society…
