He started the season at the Stony Brook University Cross Country Invitational finishing the 6K with a time of 20:07.5...

Indoor Track
In the mile at the 2015 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational he finished in 6th place with a time of 4:25.85... He had a personal best time in the mile of 4:22.44 at the 2016 America East Indoor Championships finishing in 12th place...

Outdoor Track
His time of 9:02.34 in the 3,000M at the UMass Lowell Invitational, a personal best, was good enough for 14th place... Then at the 2016 University of New Hampshire he had another personal best with a time of 10:18.21 in the 3,000M steeple finishing in 4th place...

Personal: Son of Mohammed and Ella Mae Kaba of Cumberland, RI… Goes by the nickname Abdul… Enjoys breakdancing, rubix cubing and juggling… His favorite TV shows are The Office and Friday Night Lights… His favorite sports teams are the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins… His greatest influences include Bernard Lagat and Steve Prefontaine… Calls earning All-State honors in his cross country state meet his senior year his greatest sports moment… Chose UMass Lowell because it had so much to offer him as an individual with many programs offered and so many options as an undeclared student. There are also great facilities and awesome resources for student athletes and the team and Coach Gardner left a great impression on him… He hopes to have a job that lines up with the degree he graduates with and join the Air Force post college. Then to eventually get married and have two children, a boy and a girl and continue to run every day… Undeclared Liberal Arts…
