AS A JUNIOR (2017): Zaniewski played in eight games in his junior season, posting six ground balls.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Appeared in 14 games … tallied one goal and two assists for three points … had six shots with three on goal for a shot on goal percentage .500 … recorded 16 groundballs … notched his first collegiate goal against Yale (2.20).
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Appeared in all 14 games and started three...finished fifth on the team with 23 groundballs, second most by a midfielder...notched five faceoff wins and caused three turnovers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity starter at Bishop Stang H.S. for Head Coach Chris Carrig - Played lacrosse and football - Named co-captain in 2014 - A two-time MIAA state qualifier, Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star, Southcoast Varsity Conference All-Star and Dual County League All-Star...Three-time Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star in lacrosse...Named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team and Southeast Mass. Region Interscholastic All-Star team - football Team MVP as a senior.
CLUB: Three-year starter for Team Cape Cod for Head Coach Greg Clements. Scored 76 goals and 58 assists in 2013 between club and high school team.
PERSONAL: Son of Ellen and Ed Zaniewski - Sister Heather was an All-American gymnast at Temple - Hobbies include running, weight lifting, and reading - Favorite shows are Two and a Half Men, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Friday Night Lights, Lost, and Prison Break - Lists New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Celtics, Cannons, and Red Sox as his favorite sports teams - Majoring in Nutrition and Science.
