LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Adrian Torok-Orban has announced the addition of Connor Kubikowski as Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2027 season. Kubikowski, who has been coaching for nearly a decade, is the first staff addition under Torok-Orban.
"I could not be more excited to welcome Connor Kubikowski to UMass Lowell as our Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator," said Torok-Orban. "Having worked alongside Connor before, I've seen firsthand the dedication and diligence he puts into developing each student-athlete into the best version of themselves. He's a tremendous teacher, he's developed some of the best defenses in the country, and he believes deeply in where River Hawk Lacrosse is going. He'll be a great asset not only to our student-athletes, but to our community, and we're thrilled to have him here in the Mill City."
Kubikowski comes to UMass Lowell after serving as the Defensive Coordinator at Fairfield during the 2026 season. While there, he oversaw all defensive personnel, including coaching USILA All-American Honorable Mention and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention Julian Rodossich, who totaled 39 caused turnovers, leading the nation. He also implemented strategic defensive schemes, created detail-oriented scouting reports, and conducted individual and unit film sessions for the defensive and two-way midfield personnel. Beyond game planning, he oversaw all aspects of recruiting, including the identification of student-athletes and on-campus visits, as well as all aspects of equipment.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the UMass Lowell men's lacrosse coaching staff," commented Kubikowski. "I'm excited to learn, contribute, and work alongside a great group of coaches and players. I'm looking forward to getting to work, continuing to grow, and doing everything I can to help the program succeed. Go River Hawks!"
Before his time at Fairfield, Kubikowski spent three seasons at Manhattan University, where he served as the Defensive and Faceoff Coordinator, as well as the Director of Recruiting. With the Jaspers, he oversaw all defensive personnel while working directly with the goalie and faceoff units, focusing on overall group development. He also conducted film sessions for the defensive and goalie personnel, all while overseeing recruiting.
Kubikowski got his start at the Division I level at Army West Point, spending three years there as a volunteer assistant coach. He also served as an assistant coach at Montclair State University for three years and was the Head Coach for both Towerman Lacrosse Club and Team 91 NJ North.
Kubikowski was a four-year member and two-time All-NEC Second Team Selection at Saint Joseph's University, where he graduated with his bachelor's in marketing in 2017.
