CAREER: Has seen action in 78 games in his three seasons … Has 24 goals and 38 assists to his credit for 62 points … Owns a career +18 rating … Has net 10 power play goals and five game-winners … Two-time Hockey East All-Academic Team selection … Named the co-recipient of the G. Harvey Chandler Award as a junior … Named the team’s Rookie of the Year at the team’s end of the year award banquet … Tabbed to the Hockey East All-Star Third Team as a junior.

AS A JUNIOR (2021-22): 
Saw action in all but two games this season for the River Hawks … Tied for first on the team in points with a career-best 28 (9G, 19A) … Led the team in assists with 19 … Capped with year with a +8 rating … Blocked 12 shots … Tabbed the Hockey East Player of the Week (Week of 3/7) … Has four power play goals and a pair of game-winning goals to his credit this year … Named the co-recipient of the G. Harvey Chandler Award at the team’s end of the year banquet … Tabbed to the Hockey East All-Star Third Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Skated in 11 games for the River Hawks, scoring 11 points off three goals and eight assists…Finished the season with three points (2G, 1A) on the power play…Recorded a season-high three points twice this season, once against Maine (1G, 2A) (1/4) and once at UNH (3A) (2/6)...Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Berglund ranked second on the team with 23 points (12g,11a), playing in all 34 games for the River Hawks. His 12 goals and +12 plus/minus rating led the River Hawks' roster. Berglund also led the team in with four power-play goals and three game-winning tallies. Berglund's 23 points was tied for seventh best among Hockey East rookies and his 12 goals were tied for second best among Hockey East first-year players. Totaled 13 points (7g,6a) in 24 league games for UMass Lowell. Berglund recorded points in 18 of 34 games, which included five multi-point performances. He notched his first collegiate goal for the River Hawks on October 6th vs. Alabama Huntsville at the Tsongas Center. He scored a career-high two goals on January 10th at RIT. UMass Lowell owned a 12-4-2 record when Berglund scored a point. Was named the River Hawks' Rookie of the Year at the annual team banquet. Berglund was named a Hockey East All-Academic selection. 

Previous Team: Berglund played with the Sioux Falls Stampede during the 2018-19 season, posting 16 points (5g,11a) in 37 games. He helped the Stampede to a Clark Cup Championship, amassing four points (2g,2a) in 10 playoff games with Sioux Falls. Played previous two seasons with Farjestad J20 of the Swedish Super Elite League, notching 49 points (20g,29a) in 58 contests in that span.

His favorite professional sports team is the Pittsburgh Penguins... His favorite sports figures and influences are Nicklas Backstrom and Henrik Stenson. His greatest sports moment was winning the Clark Cup Championship. Is also fluent in Spanish.
