AS A SENIOR (2024): Made 54 starts at shortstop…Hit .281 with 210 at bats…Tallied 45 runs and 59 hits with 10 doubles…Tied for team lead with two triples and was second on the team with seven homers…Totaled 24 RBI with a .448 slugging percentage…Drew 32 walks and had four stolen bases…Made 97 putouts with 129 assists for a .926 fielding percentage…Season-high four hits at UAlbany (5/4) and four RBI against Maine (4/14)…Named to the 2024 America East All-Conference Second Team.

AS A JUNIOR (2023): Made 51 appearances and 50 starts…Led the team with a .324 batting average…Tallied 41 runs, 59 hits, 13 doubles, 47 RBI and 101 total bases in 182 at bats…Nine home runs led team…Slashed .324/.555/.419…Drew 27 walks and had nine stolen bases…Had 59 putouts and team-high 98 assists for a .913 fielding percentage…Ranked ninth in the league in batting percentage and slugging percentage, eighth in OPS, seventh in RBI, 15^th in runs scored, 14^th in doubles and tied for 13^th in home runs…Earned America East All-Conference Second Team honors.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022): Played and started in all 58 games… Recorded a .290 batting average with 64 base hits… finished tied for the second most doubles on the team with 15 and finished with a team-best 11 home runs… Tallied 34 walks, scored 44 runs, and stole 17 bases… Had a .966 fielding percentage…Set a program record with six runs scored in a single game in a standout performance against Bryant (4.19) where he went 5-6 with two home runs, seven RBIs and four stolen bases...Named to the 2022 America East All-Championship Team.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL (Virginia Tech, 2020-21): Started in 39 games … recorded a .213 batting average with 45 base hits … tallied 16 RBI with three home runs … drew 18 total walks.
 
HIGHLIGHTS: Member of the baseball and basketball teams at Kingston High School … helped lead his high school to four straight section championships … nominated to Section 9 First Team his sophomore, junior and senior seasons … named the Section 9 Player of the Year both his junior and senior season.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Donald and Carmela Genther and the late Rena Genther … has two sisters (Alissa and Gabriella) as well as one brother (Nico) … his father was a pro BMX racer who was ranked 11^th in the world at the age of 15 … plays golf, tennis, and basketball as hobbies … names the New York Yankees as his favorite professional sports team … chose to attend UMass Lowell because he loved the city as well as the coaching staff.
