Before the 2025 season, Tyler Fitzgerald joined the River Hawk baseball program as the new assistant coach whose responsible for aiding and guiding the pitchers.
Fitzgerald graduated from Keene State in 2020 where he played baseball as a pitcher for two seasons. Beforehand, Fitzgerald played at Salem State and Southern Maine before transferring to Keene State.
Returning a year later upon his graduation, Fitzgerald would get the opportunity to become a pitching coach for his former team from 2021-2023. With his addition, Fitzgerald helped improve the Owls' record each season.
Following the 2023 season, Fitzgerald took a similar role at Southern New Hampshire University, serving as a recruiting coordinator/pitching coach.
During his one year with SNHU, Fitzgerald was responsible for facilitating all the recruiting functions of a top 25 ranked Division II program. Southern New Hampshire would finish with an overall record of 37-19, including a 20-7 conference record. SNHU advanced as far as the NCAA Division II World Series Tournament during the 2024 season, finishing just a game shy of the semifinals.
Fitzgerald helped aid with the development of the NE10 Pitcher of the Year, two NE10 First Team pitchers, one All-Defensive Team pitcher, one Third Team pitcher, one All-Rookie pitcher, and two All-Region selections during the 2024 season.
Fitzgerald earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Keene State in 2020 and is currently pursuing his MBA at Southern New Hampshire.
