Waas is in his second year at UMass Lowell in 2018-19, after coming to the Mill City following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at St. Cloud State University.
Waas serves the River Hawk men's soccer and baseball programs, as well as providing assistance to the club sports.
Prior to St. Cloud, the Niagara Falls native earned his bachelor's of science degree in athletic training with a minor in health and human performance. Along with being a certified athletic trainer, Waas holds certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and National Provider.
Waas has had previous stops at FC Boston, DCI: Boston Crusaders and Georgia Southern.
