AS A JUNIOR (2020-21): Skated in 15 games for the River Hawks, scoring three points off a goal and a pair of assists…Recorded a season-high two points off a pair of assists against Maine (1/3).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Sawchuk played in 23 games for the River Hawks, compiling three assists. Has a plus or even rating in 16 of 23 games for the River Hawks. Earned the River Hawks' Coaches Perseverance Award annual team banquet. Was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for the second straight year and was also named Hockey East's Top Scholar. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19): Sawchuk skated in 23 contests in his freshman campaign, posting two assists with a +2 plus/minus rating. Made his collegiate debut on November 23rd vs. Rensselaer. Tallied his first career point with an assist at RPI on November 25th. Had a plus or even rating in 20 of 23 contests as a rookie.

Previous Team: Sawchuk played for the Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He posted 30 points (2g,28a) in 57 games in 2017-18. Sawchuck tallied eight points (5g,3a) in 12 playoff games for the Minotauros in 2018. He amassed 32 points (4g,28a) in 56 contests in 2016-17.

Personal: Son of Lynn and Darrin... Has sibling named Avery... NHL Hall of Fame goalie Terry Sawchuk is his great great uncle... His nickname is Saw(chy)... In his time away from the rink he likes golfing and roller hockey... Favorite TV show are NHL Tonight, Stranger Things and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives... His favorite professional sports team is the Minnesota Wild... His favorite sports figures and influences are Jonathan Toews and Rory McIlroy. His greatest sports moment was playing at the Xcel Energy Center in the Minnesota State High School hockey tournament senior year.
