LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Athletics and Epigram Brew Co. are proud to announce the release of Rowdy's House Lager, a brand-new beer brewed in celebration of UMass Lowell, perfect for fans and friends alike. This exciting collaboration blends the spirit of UMass Lowell Athletics and the surrounding community with the craftsmanship of local brewing, delivering a smooth, refreshing beer made for game days, victory toasts, and everything in between.

Crafted at Epigram Brew Co. in nearby Tyngsboro, Mass., Rowdy's House was unofficially debuted at a launch/tasting event at the brewery back in June, where a packed house of River Hawk faithful were able to taste test different options for the beer and cast votes for their favorites, while enjoying complimentary pizza and appetizers and getting a sneak peek at the amazing UMass Lowell-inspired can art.

"We are super excited to be working with Epigram and Jeff White and his team," said UMass Lowell Senior Associate Athletic Director for Corporate Partnerships & Development Eric Allen. "Certainly, any time you can extend the River Hawk brand is exciting. Being creative was our goal and I definitely think we're outside the box with this, but to have the support of the university to go forward, I'm super excited."

Just like the beer, the idea for Rowdy's House Lager has been brewing behind the scenes for some time, as both UMass Lowell and Epigram have worked closely over the past several months to bring this project to life, and the anticipation has only grown. Now, both sides are thrilled to finally share it with the fans — whether it's from the Tsongas concessions, shelves of a local store or at the Epigram taproom.

"It's pretty surreal," said Jeff White of Epigram Brew Co. "What began as just a conversation has grown into something incredible. Seeing this level of support for the collaboration is truly exciting—we're absolutely thrilled."Fans can get their first taste of Rowdy's House Lager at the UMass Lowell season and home opener against Merrimack at the Tsongas Center on October 3rd but can always stop into Epigram to raise a glass to the River Hawks.
