LOWELL, Mass. – Senior Fritz Genther (Kingston, N.Y.) has signed with the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League, the MLB's premier professional partner league.
 
"As a program, we are really excited for Fritz. He worked hard to get this opportunity and it's well deserved," said head coach Nick Barese. "Fritz will go down as one of the best players to ever come through our program. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long and successful professional career."
 
Genther is a two-time America East All-Conference Second Team selection and earned 2022 America East All-Tournament honors. The Kingston native made 162 starts in the three seasons in Lowell, batting .297 with 182 hits, including 38 doubles and four triples, 134 runs, 115 RBI and 27 homers. Genther tallied 240 total putouts and 372 assists for a .937 fielding percentage with the River Hawks.
