LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Baseball Head Coach
Ken Harring announced the addition of 20 newcomers to the 2022 roster.
"This year's class brings a ton of athleticism, skill, and experience. We feel that we addressed all the needs we needed to fill. They will make a lasting impact on the legacy of UMass Lowell Baseball."
The 20-player class features several transfer students, including outfielder Trey Brown (Rochester, N.Y.), infielder Fritz Genter (Kingston, N.Y.), right-handed pitcher Zach Rodgers (Parrish, Fla.), outfielder Matt Tobin (Poland, N.Y.), infielder Frank Wayman (Horseheads, N.Y.), and right-handed pitcher Brendan Williams (Auburn, N.Y.). The freshman class includes outfielder Spencer Aubin (Dover, N.H.), left-handed pitcher Hayden Duke (Mattapoisett, Mass.), right-handed pitcher/infielder Josh Frometa (Holyoke, Mass.), infielder Brandon Fish (Londonderry, N.H.), catcher Jake Fitzgibbons (Franklin, Mass.), right-handed pitcher Nick Gleason (Northborough, Mass.), right-handed pitcher Drew Haight (Duxbury, Mass.), left-handed pitcher Brendan Holland (North Andover, Mass.), infielder/outfielder Jacob Humphrey (Standish, Maine), left-handed pitcher/outfielder LJ Keevan (Holden, Mass.), infielder/outfielder Conor Kelly (Hopkinton, Mass.), utility player Alex Luccini (Hopedale, Mass.), right-handed pitcher/outfielder Reed Parson (Leominster, Mass.), and right-handed pitcher Jomari Rosa (Methuen, Mass.).
