Final Results
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – The River Hawks completed their first tournament of the fall season by taking 12th in the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate Tournament. 
UMass Lowell finished with a two-round score of 618. The University of Rhode Island took first place, scoring a two-round total of 574. Bryant University came in second with a score of 575, followed by St. Francis University with a score of 578. Host school Central Connecticut State University finished tied for fourth with Fordham University with two-round scores of 586. 
Junior 
Ryan Paris (Haverhill, Mass.) led the River Hawks with a two-round score of 147. Junior 
Jonathan Burgin (Hampshire, England) was second on the team with a score of 155. Sophomore 
Jimmy Walmsley (Pepperell, Mass.) and junior 
Joe Vanaman (Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, England) each finished with scores of 158, and sophomore 
Kevin Scott (Tyngsborough, Mass.) rounded out the River Hawks with a score of 162. 
Paris turned in the lowest 18-hole round for the River Hawks with a 70 on the second day of the tournament. 
The River Hawks have a week off before they travel to South Kent, Conn., for the Hartford Hawks Invitational beginning on Sep. 22.
