UMass Lowell to Launch National Search for Head Women's Volleyball Coach

LOWELL, Mass. (December 16, 2013) – Karen McNulty, will no longer serve as the head women's volleyball coach at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. A national search for a replacement will commence immediately.

Under McNulty's 20-year reign, the River Hawks compiled a 339-290 record overall (.539). McNulty's teams posted eight 20-win seasons during her career at UMass Lowell, which included six NCAA Division II tournament appearances. The River Hawks also captured their first-ever Northeast-10 Tournament Championship in 2009, when the team posted a 22-10 record, which also earned McNulty conference Coach of the Year accolades.

"We would like to thank Karen for her many years of service to UMass Lowell, the volleyball program, and student-athletes," said Dana Skinner, Director of Athletics.
