ABOUT ISABELLE: A native of Bedford, Mass., Isabelle Johnson was drafted by the River Hawks Field Hockey team in August of 2014. Isabelle was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, the most common life-threatening and chronic lung disease found in children, when she was just nine days old. Since the diagnosis, Isabelle’s life has been dominated by treatments. Despite her daily struggles, Isabelle enjoys yoga, dance and attending River Hawks ice hockey games in addition to field hockey.
