PERSONAL: One of four children of Jelenko and Dubravka Basic of Zagreb, Croatia ... his favorite hobby is horseback riding ... lists Barcelona as favorite sports team and Iniesta as favorite sports influence ... greatest sports moment is Zagreb's Futsal League with his high school ... chose UMass Lowell because he feels the school can prepare him for the future in both academics and soccer ... majoring in psychology.
