Ruiz enters his third season as the Director of Operations at his alma mater, after graduating from UMass Lowell in 2017 following a stellar four year career with the River Hawks.

After a freshman season at Boston University, Ruiz transferred to the Mill City and appeared in 56 games, while starting 50 to rank in the top five among Division I leaders in both categories. The midfielder tallied seven goals and seven assists for 21 points, including going 5-for-6 from the penalty spot.

In 2014, Ruiz was named to the America East All-Conference First and All-Academic Teams.
