AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2020):
**Season shortened due to COVID-19** Saw action in all seven games … collected one assist in the season-opener against Quinnipiac (2/8) … recorded six shots with four on goal for a .667 shot on goal percentage … picked up 11 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
AS A SENIOR (2019): Russo recorded a career-high 12 goals and 18 points in 14 games and eight starts ... posted his first career goal on Feb. 9 vs. Quinnipiac ... named to the America East All-Academic Team ... posted goals in 10 games last year and tallied two multi-goal games.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Played in all 16 contests for the River Hawks ... posted 13 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist at Wagner (3.15) … had 29 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
High School: Scholar athlete his final two seasons…Sachem North Hustle Award as a senior…team captain for junior varsity lacrosse and soccer his sophomore year…member of National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society, Business Honor Society and Social Studies Honor Society.
