AS A JUNIOR (2021-22): Appeared in 29 games for the River Hawks in the 2021-22 season … Registered career highs in all three scoring categories, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists for six points … Ended the year with a +5 rating … Scored his first goal of the year at Vermont (12/10) … Blocked a season-best two shots in three games (10/2 at Arizona State; 11/21 at UConn; 12/29 at St. Lawrence).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Appeared in 17 games for the River Hawks, registering one assist against UNH (2/5)…Finished the year with a +3 rating…Blocked 12 shots...Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): He skated in 33 games in his freshman season, registering five points (2g,3a) with a +3 plus/minus rating. Korencik scored his first career goal for UMass Lowell on February 7th at Boston College. Notched a plus or even rating in 26 of 33 games for the River Hawks. Korencik was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for his efforts in the classroom.
Previous Team: Korencik played the last three seasons for Lulea J20 in the Swedish Super Elite League, skating in 116 games posting 34 points (9g,25a). He posted 20 points (6g,14a) in 42 games for Lulea in 2018-19. He also represented Slovakia at the last three WJC tournaments.
