AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 16 of 23 games she played • Scored 17 goals to go along with 12 assists for 46 points • Scored four goals in a 9-1 win at Southern Connecticut (10/1) • Had two goals and two assists in 9-0 win vs. Lindenwood (9/23).   

AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in 13 of the River Hawks' 24 games on the year • Finished freshman campaign with a pair of goals • First collegiate goal came on Sept. 29 in a 10-0 win over Saint Michael's.

KINGSTON HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity field hockey at Kingston High School for Coach Deb Eaton • Four-year First Team Freeman All-Star and two-year All-State selection • NYS First Team All-Star in 2008 and 09 • Named All-Section leading goal scorer in 2009 and MVP of the Mid-Hudson Athletic League • Played for the Cross River Combo club team out of Pine Plains for Coach Nanette Simeone • Also played basketball and softball at KHS • Member of the National Honor Society and Foreign Language National Honor Society • Four year scholar athlete.

PERSONAL: Younger of two children of Nadine and James Ferraro • Says playing a three-overtime game in the state tournament was her greatest sports moment • Planning to major in business and focus on accounting • Hopes to be a successful dual-sport athlete at UMass Lowell and open her own business after graduation.
