BOSTON, Mass. – UMass Lowell field hockey sophomore back Rena Pistilli (Lambaré, Paraguay) received America East Offensive Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Â
Despite being a back, Pistilli had an incredibly successful week on the offensive end, registering a hat trick on October 16 at New Hampshire. In that outing, she converted on three corner attempts to help lift her squad to a 4-0 conference win on the road.
Â
Pistilli and the River Hawks are back in action on Friday, October 23 when they host Maine in the regular-season home finale at Wicked Blue Field beginning at 3 p.m.
