AS A JUNIOR (2021-22): Skated in 33 games for the River Hawks … Tallied a career-best three goals and collegiate-high eight assists for a single-season best 11 points … Scored one power play goal and registered eight blocks … Finished with a +7 rating … Put up a season-high two points in two contests (11/3 vs. LIU; 3/4 at UNH).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Appeared in 18 games for the River Hawks, scoring three goals and two assists for five points…Netted two game-winning goals and dished out an assist on a game-winning goal this season…Scored three points on the power play, knocking on a goal and registering two assists…Blocked 10 shots during his sophomore campaign…Helped the River Hawks to a 4-0-0 mark when scoring a point...Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Chambers skated in 25 games in his freshman season, posting six points (1g,5a). He scored his first collegiate goal for UMass Lowell on November 2nd at Merrimack. Notched a career-high two assists at RIT on January 10th. UMass Lowell owned a 4-1-0 record when Chambers scored a point. Chambers was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
Previous Team: Chambers played 60 contests for the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United State Hockey League (USHL) in 2018-19, helping the team win the Clark Cup Championship. He recorded 41 points (17g,24a) with a +19 plus/minus rating. He registered five points (2g,3a) in 12 games during the Stampede's playoff run. In 2017-18, he played 30 games for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL, registering 12 points (4g,8a) and he also played 18 contests for the Northeast Generals in the North America Hockey League (NAHL), totaling 11 points (3g,8a).
Personal: Son of Barbara and William Chambers... Has a younger brother John... When away from the rink he likes hanging out with friends, working out and going down to Cape Cod with family... His favorite TV show is The Office and Shooter... His favorite professional sports team is the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox... His favorite sports figure and influence is Patrice Bergeron. His greatest sports moment was winning the 2018-19 Clark Cup with the Sioux Falls Stampede.
