LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team hits the road one last time this season for an America East weekend clash at UAlbany on Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m.

Looking at UMass Lowell
The River Hawks (1-13, 0-4 AE) are looking to snap a ten-game skid as they head into a light week of America East action. UMass Lowell was recently edged in a 5-4 heartbreaker to Brown on April 12, despite a late second half rally.

Sophomore attacker
Taylor Sokol (Hopkinton, Mass) is pacing the squad with 20 points, in addition to being tied for a team-high 14 goals with freshman midfielder
Kristina Keith (Exeter, N.H.). Sokol also sits atop the team leaderboard with six assists, sharing the spot with freshman attacker
Noelle Lambert (Londonderry, N.H.) through 14 games so far this season. In net, sophomore goalkeeper
Courtney Barrett (South Burlington, Vt.) owns a 13.06 goals against average and a .442 save percentage, while leading the conference in ground balls (60) and the River Hawks in caused turnovers (12).

Scouting UAlbany
UAlbany, who owns a 7-4 overall record and a 3-0 mark in league play, is coming off a 0-1 week, after hitting a slight 8-7 set back to No. 4 Syracuse on April 12. Dakotah Savitcheff ranks first on the team with 40 tallies and 42 points through 11 games this season. For the Great Danes, Sarah Martin is notching team highs in ground balls (30), draw controls (36) and caused turnovers (14), while recording 16 goals and 17 assists for 33 points. Goalkeeper Courtney Henderson is posting a 7.18 goals against average and a .483 save percentage.

Goalkeeper
Courtney Barrett is headlining several conference statistic categories, as she ranks first in ground balls (60) and saves per game (10.08), in addition to notching a .438 save percentage, good enough for fifth in the conference.
Kelly Moran (Newfields, N.H.) has found her amongst the ranks as well, as her 2.69 draw controls per game puts her fifth in the America East.

Kristina Keith was tabbed America East Rookie of the Week on March 7, after posting four goals and one assist in the squad's first program win, while tying a program-high five points in a single contest.
