LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Lisa Miller has announced the addition of Morgan Gott as Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2027 season. Gott, who has nearly a decade of coaching experience at the collegiate level, joins the River Hawks after spending the last season as an assistant coach at Kennesaw State University.

"A Georgetown, Massachusetts native, Morgan has quite a bit of experience and is a grinder on the recruiting circuit with excellent recommendations," commented Miller. "We are excited to get going with her as she takes over the defensive unit and recruiting coordinator duties."

At Kennesaw State, Gott served as the offensive coordinator, overseeing the offense, sets, and the subbing and development of players. Beyond that, she also worked as a goalie coach and draw coach, overseeing development of both units. Off the field, she scouted other teams' defenses and took the lead on travel plans, served as a recruiting coordinator, all of which helped lead the team to their best season since 2022.

"I want to thank Coach Lisa Miller for this opportunity to join the staff at UMass Lowell," said Gott. "I am beyond excited to be a part of a program that has established itself as a top competitor in the America East Conference. I am looking forward to serving and investing in this team, helping build upon the championship culture that has been laid, and providing the current and future student-athletes the best experience possible as a River Hawk."

Prior to Kennesaw State, Gott spent three years at Saint Francis University, starting as an assistant coach before becoming the head coach for the 2025 season.  During her time in charge, Gott coached and mentored four NEC First Team All-Conference players, the most in program history in a single season, while also coaching the 2025 NEC Rookie of the Year and the Second Team All-Conference goalkeeper. With a 5-4 conference record, her team made the NEC tournament and advanced to the NEC Semifinals for the second time in program history.

Before Saint Francis, Gott spent time as an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan (2021-22), George Mason (2018-20), Mary Washington (2017-18), and Roanoke College (2016-17). She has also served as head coach for a variety of clubs including Denver Summit (2021), Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic (2021), CRASH Lacrosse Club (2018-19), and Mid-Western Force (2016-17).

Gott graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2016 with her bachelor's in business administration. While there, she was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team, making 26 starts in 61 games, totaling 10 goals, nine assists, 40 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers, and 38 draw controls.
