SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell enters Friday road match at UNH with a 6-18 overall record and a 1-8 mark in America East action. The River Hawks own a 3-6 mark in road matches this season and a 1-2 record in AE road matches so far this season. UMass Lowell is coming off two conference losses last week, which included a 3-2 loss to AE leader UAlbany last Sunday at Costello Athletic Center in their most recent match. Freshman outside hitter
Katherine Claybaugh (Danville, Calif.) tallied a match-high 17 kills in the losing effort. The River Hawks have played in eight five-set matches and the team owns a 3-5 record in those contests. The team owns a 1-4 record in their last five matches, with the last victory coming on October 22nd at Hartford.Â

Lindsey Visvardis (Homer Glen, Ill.) has tallied a team-best 369 digs leading the way on defense for UMass Lowell. Visvardis has posted eight 20 dig efforts this season.Â
Senior middle blocker
Lauren Bennett (Wilmington, Mass.) ranks second in the conference with 1.24 blocks per set. Her 88 total blocks leads the team and she needs just 12 blocks to become the ninth player in team history with a 100-block season.Â
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS: New Hampshire has a 15-10 record with a 6-2 record in conference play headed into the weekend. The Wildcats have won their last four matches and own a 5-3 record in eight matches at Lundholm Gym this season. UNH is coming off a 3-1 victory at UMBC on Sunday, as Demi Muses posted a match-high 17 kills. Muses leads the team with 295 kills, while Emily Tanski is right behind her with 260 kills. Sara Carlson leads the team with 309 digs.
The Wildcats won the first meeting of the season series by a 3-1 score on October 9th at Costello Athletic Center. UMass Lowell win in set three in the last meeting between the team marked the first time the team took a set from the three-time reigning America East Champions.
Katherine Claybaugh tallied a team-high nine kills in the loss, while Demi Muses had 16 kills and 22 digs in the victory for the Wildcats. UNH owns a 7-0 all-time record in four seasons of play against the River Hawks.Â
