SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell enters the week with a 5-12 record and a 0-3 record in America East play, after an 0-2 weekend with losses at Albany (3-1) and Binghamton (3-2). Freshman outside hitter
Katherine Claybaugh (Danville, Calif.) made her return to the River Hawks' lineup, leading the team with 33 kills and 3.67 kills per set in the two matches. Sophomore libero
Lindsey Visvardis (Homer Glen, Ill.) totaled 46 digs and 5.11 digs per set last weekend.

Madi Bell (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) continues to lead the UMass Lowell roster with 153 kills. She has amassed 10+ kills in eight matches this year, which is the second highest total on the team.
After Saturday's five-set loss at Binghamton, the River Hawks have now played in five matches that have gone the distance and the team owns a 2-3 record in those contests, which includes a five-set win against Bryant in the opening match of the Crusader Classic on September 2
nd in Worcester, Mass.
UMass Lowell ranks fourth as a team in America East in blocks (1.73) and service aces (1.45) per set.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Bryant owns a 10-10 overall record and a 2-1 record in the NEC coming into Wednesday's matchup. In their last 10 matches, the Bulldogs own a 7-3 record, including their most match, which was a 3-0 loss at Central Connecticut last Friday night. Sara DePouw leads the team with 142 kills and 2.58 kills per set, while libero Erica Vendituoli paces the Bulldogs with a team-high 230 digs this year. The Bulldogs own a 3-2 home record in five matches at the Chace Athletic Center this season.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. BRYANT: The teams have split four all-time meetings in the Div. I era and the River Hawks won the 2015 meeting by a 3-0 score on September 29
th at Costello Athletic Center.
In the first meeting this year vs. the Bulldogs, Claybaugh became the first Div. I player in school history with 20 kills in a match. Bell and sophomore
Haley Shimon (Des Moines, Iowa) added 15 and 11 kills, respectively.
AMERICA EAST LEADERS: Claybaugh's 3.71 kills per set is second best in America East overall games, while
Lauren Bennett's 0.98 blocks per set is third best in the conference. Visvardis' 4.08 digs per set is fourth best among league liberos. In conference play, Claybaugh's 3.67 kills per set in tied for the America East lead, while Vivardis' 4.86 digs per set leads the conference.
