Vote Schneider!

BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore goalkeeper Julia Schneider (Bridgewater, Mass.) has been nominated for the America East Women's Soccer Fans' Choice Player of the Year, as announced by the league on Friday.
 
Voting kicks off on Friday, October 21 at noon and will run until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Schneider is the lone representative from UMass Lowell, as she battles against eight other conference players for the America East Women's Soccer Fans' Choice Player of the Year title. Fans can vote once per day on any one device.
 
The sophomore owns the majority of decisions in the net thus far, starting 13 of the team's 15 games, while compiling a 3-9-1 record. Schneider is boasting a 1.14 goals against average, a 0.826 save percentage, 71 saves and three shut outs as well in 2016.
 
The Bridgewater, Mass. native has already etched her name in the program's record book as she ranks in the top 10 in career games (31), minutes (2763:44), wins (9), goals against average (1.69), and shutouts (7).
