LOWELL, Mass. – The 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams have been announced and include five members of the UMass Lowell women's soccer team.
Senior Maddie Guthrie (Stow, Mass.), senior Sophie St. George (Walpole, Mass.), senior Kirti Craig (Spotswood, N.J.), junior Franzisca Sinclair (Frankfurt, Germany) and sophomore Nuala Rodgers (Dedham, Mass.) have all garnered spots on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
The Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Guthrie is pursuing her undergraduate degree in applied biomedical science from the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences. The senior made an impact in the starting lineup, appearing in all 17 games this season, while logging the most minutes on the team with 1370, and the most assists with four. After the 2025 season, Guthrie was selected to the America East All-Academic Team for her exceptional performances on the field and in the classroom.
St. George is receiving her undergraduate degree from the Manning School of Business in business administration. In her final season as a River Hawk, the midfielder saw action in 16 out of the 17 games played for UMass Lowell.
Craig is obtaining her undergraduate degree in exercise science from the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences. The midfielder stepped in as needed throughout the season, seeing time in all 17 games played for the River Hawks, starting in six contests. Craig also posted her first goal as a River Hawk this season versus UAlbany on October 26, 2025.
Sinclair is studying chemistry in the Kennedy College of Sciences. The defender was a key presence on the backline, appearing in 16 contests, while starting 10, to log 1098 minutes of action for the River Hawks.
Rodgers is majoring in environmental science from the Kennedy College of Sciences. The midfielder played in all 17 games during the 2025 season, making 16 starts for the River Hawks. The sophomore recorded two goals and two assists for six points, while also registering 1195 minutes. She stood out this season, earning a selection to the America East All-Conference Second Team, as well as achieving a spot on the America East All-Championship Team following postseason play.
