SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell enters the weekend with a 5-14 overall mark and a 0-4 record in America East action, after a pair of losses to Bryant and New Hampshire last week. The River Hawks own a 1-3 record at Costello Athletic Center in four matches so far this season.  Haley Shimon leads the team with 171 kills in her sophomore season, after posting 266 in her freshman season in 2015.

Freshman Katherine Claybaugh totaled a team-high nine kills in the 3-1 loss to UNH on Sunday. It was the first time in the Div. I era that the River Hawks took a set from the three-time reigning America East Champions.

SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES: Stony Brook enters Friday's match with a 5-14 overall record and a 1-3 record in league play. The Seawolves are 0-7 on the road this year and own a 1-4 marker in their last five matches. McKyla Brooks leads the team with 196 kills.

SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS: UMBC has posted an 11-5 overall record (2-2 AE) so far this season. The Retrievers own a 4-2 record in their last six matches and hold a 1-3 road record so far this year. Abbie Mirabella's 224 kills leads the UMBC roster.
