LOWELL, Mass. -- UMass Lowell is hosting Bob Ryan, author of
Scribe: My Life in Sports, on Saturday, January 31. The
Boston Globe reporter and columnist will sign copies of his new book in the Tsongas Center lobby, starting at 6:15 p.m., prior to the River Hawks home hockey game against the Merrimack College Warriors.
The River Hawk Shop will have copies of
Scribe: My Life in Sports for sale on location though fans who already own the book are welcome to bring their own.
UMass Lowell basketball and hockey season supporters will get an exclusive chance to meet Ryan, a regular on ESPN's
Around the Horn, at the Hoff Alumni Scholarship Center at 5:00 p.m. He will discuss his book and take questions from the audience. Space is limited. Please visit
