The River Hawks started four freshmen, including goalkeeper
Austin Kroll (Baltimore, Md.) who finished the contest with three saves. Joel Rodrigues (Meriden, Conn.),
James Thompkins (Plainville, Conn.), and
Joseph Conti (Annapolis, Md.) also earned their first start as River Hawks.

The Hawks Dom Sarle broke into the score sheet early with a pair of goals in the opening 10 minutes of play. Dave Nigro and Bryant Avalos each netted a goal of their own as MU took a 4-0 lead into the half.

Nigro added another goal in the 61st minute to conclude the scoring on the evening.
Freshmen
Austin Kroll (Baltimore, Md.) earned his first start in net and finished the contest with three saves.

"The positive for us were getting the ball one side to the other and get the ball up the field and with some more time we'll become more effective in the final third," said Figueroa.

The River Hawks will be back in action on Sunday when they play Seton Hall at 1 p.m.
